With solar panels on your holiday home, you can generate your own electricity at EuroParcs. You will receive a fixed fee for every kWh of electricity you supply.

Participation in our solar panel program is free for all EuroParcs owners. Registering is easy and without obligations via the online registration form. Please let us know your annual power consumption (in kWh) when registering. Your annual kWh consumption is necessary to determine the maximum number of panels and to offer you a system with optimal efficiency.

Our expert visits

After we have received your registration, we inspect all participating holiday homes. In consultation with EuroParcs, a suitable period will be scheduled for each park's inspections. 

We inspect all chalet types and individually determine the optimum number of solar panels and whether you need microinverters or not for your location. 

When measuring the space on your roof we check for obstacles like chimneys and possible shadow from, for example, surrounding trees. We also inspect the distribution box per housing type and we will optimize the cable route for you. 

This then results in a tailor-made offer with an installation plan for your holiday home, which we will send you online as a complete quotation. Where necessary, we coordinate the work with EuroParcs and with your chalet builder.

After the inspection of your holiday home, our installer will prepare a tailor-made offer with all the necessities for your holiday home. At EuroParcs we take aesthetics into account so that the desired appearance of the park is preserved. 

You will receive a link by email to view the proposal online. In your quote we specify the required materials, the total price and all the details for your holiday home. In addition to all the necessary products, your quote includes a design and installation plan and a detailed yield calculation for 25 years. That way you know exactly where you stand.

Planning and installation

Is everything in our proposal to your liking? After you agree to the quote, the planner will contact you to make an installation appointment. As the owner, you must be present on the installation day. That is why the installation is planned in consultation with you. 

The installation is taken care of by our experienced installers. The entire system (the solar panels, the inverter(s), the monitoring system and an extra group in the group box) is delivered working within 1 day.

VAT return for Dutch business owners

As a Dutch (small) business owner, you can reclaim the 21% VAT that you have paid on the products and activities from the Dutch tax authorities. 

Entrepreneurs must reclaim the VAT themselves of via their accountant. 

Are you investing privately? Then we refer you to our experienced partner, The Central VAT Refund company. They will anwer any questions you may have. If possible, they will help you to reclaim the 21% VAT from the tax authorities as well. In order to provide this VAT return service, they will need additional information from you after your system has been installed.

As a preferred supplier, we design your installation especially for Europarcs holiday homes. We take into account the roof covering, total weight and optimal cable routes for each type of chalet. Even the placement of the monitoring module is technically coordinated with chalet builders such as Wanders, Jatin and Adria.

The installers of ZelfOpwekken.nl have realized more than 250 holdiday homes at Europarcs holiday parks. Our installers ensure that all systems have the same quality, finish and external characteristics, both outside on the roof and inside in the home. 

We always coordinate our work with the chalet builders. Because that is the most sustainable approach. 

Installing solar panels on holiday homes is work for specialists. There are dozens of types of roofing and constructions, all of which have been viewed well. Fortunately, a customized technical solution is available for every situation.

In addition to the work on top of the roof, for example, the electrical work and online yield monitoring are provided by us.

Our installers always place a free "group" with a gross production meter in the distribution box. Your system is then connected to your internet router via LAN. This way you can always accurately monitor the performance of the system.

How does the return work?

At EuroParcs you can feed back electricity at the same rate that you pay per kWh. The maximum is your own annual power consumption (usage). 

This way you can reduce your electricity costs to zero and the solar panels basically pay for themselves quickly. It is therefore important that you state your annual power consumption when you register.
